1 dead after shooting on Wedgewood Avenue, police say

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A person is dead following a shooting near the Edgehill and Belmont communities, according to officials.

Law enforcement was called just after 4:30 a.m. to the area of Wedgewood Avenue and 16th Avenue South.

When officers arrived, they found a vehicle that had crashed into a tree. Authorities said one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
