PULASKI, Tenn. (WKRN) -- A man is facing multiple charges after another man was found shot in Pulaski Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Pulaski Police Department, officers and members of the Criminal Investigations Unit responded to a shots fired call near the intersection of McGrew Street and Alexander Street on Wednesday, Oct. 22.
When law enforcement arrived at the scene, they reportedly discovered a 34-year-old man with a gunshot wound. Officials said Giles County EMS treated the victim for what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said they received information that led them to the 800 block of Brown Drive, where they took 48-year-old Marcus Orlando Williams into custody. He was charged with the following offenses:
- Attempted first-degree murder
- Aggravated assault
- Reckless endangerment
- Possession of a firearm as a felon
- Evading arrest
- Resisting arrest
On Thursday, Oct. 23, authorities announced Williams is being held without bond in the Giles County Jail pending his court appearance.
The Pulaski Police Department thanked the Giles County Sheriff's Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for their help.
According to officials, more arrests are possible amid this ongoing investigation. No additional details were released about the case.
