WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) -- Law enforcement and emergency responders have been called to the scene of a helicopter crash in Wilson County Saturday afternoon.
The Wilson County Sheriff's Office announced just after 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8 that a LifeFlight helicopter crashed in the 7100 block of Cairo Bend Road. Deputies are at the scene, working with other responding agencies.
Officials urge motorists to avoid the area and find an alternate route to allow emergency personnel to manage the scene safely and effectively.
