Description

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A bystander was injured in a shootout between two groups of people in East Nashville overnight, according to Metro Police.

Investigators said the shootout occurred just after midnight Sunday in the 600 block of Sylvan Street in the Cayce Homes area.

An uninvolved person was shot in the arm and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No additional information was released as the investigation continues.
