In the meantime, city officials sent an advisory for residents concerned with how to pay their water bill and/or property taxes. They also provided an update about some municipal court hearings.

As for water and property tax bills, residents can submit checks or money order payments in the drop box at 1500 E. Nir Shreibman Blvd. Officials said the city cannot accept cash and credit/debit card payments. According to city officials, payments cannot be accepted on the city's online portal.

During office closures, no late fees will accrue and no water accounts will be shut off, according to the city.
