LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A crash involving two school buses in La Vergne left one person hurt, but no students were injured, according to officials.
La Vergne officials said the crash occurred Monday morning at Fergus Road and North Lowry Street.
Rutherford County Schools officials said it is believed that a smaller transport bus turned in front of a larger school bus, and the larger bus struck its side.
Officials said the larger bus was transporting the driver and 11 students. On the smaller bus, only a driver and an aide were on board. A woman from the smaller bus was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating.
