WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Interstate 840 westbound has been shut down in Williamson County due to a tractor-trailer crash.
Around 7 p.m., Williamson County Fire and Rescue said that the interstate is shut down near mile marker 22 due to a motor vehicle crash. The Tennessee Department of Transportation's SmartWay map said the crash involved multiple vehicles with the incident reported around 6:56 p.m. near mile marker 23.6.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office added that the crash involved a tractor-trailer and advised drivers to expect "significant delays and potential detours."
As of publication, it is unclear when the roadway will reopen. News 2 has reached out to the Tennessee Highway Patrol for more information.
