FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) — After weeks of searching, Franklin police found a stolen trailer and issued a warrant for a suspect in connection with the case.

Around 1 a.m. on July 9, a surveillance camera captured the theft of a trailer in the parking lot of SpringTree Media Group on Lakeview Drive. Franklin police said a truck pulled into the lot and, within minutes, the driver attached the trailer to the truck and drove away.

On Friday, the Franklin Police Department announced that they had issued a warrant for felony theft of stolen property in connection with the case. Additionally, the stolen trailer was located in Marshall County.

Dustin Nicholson of Nashville, 32, was charged. Police added that Nicholson is in the Marshall County Jail on unrelated charges.
