NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Night skies across Middle Tennessee will be bursting with color as communities celebrate Independence Day with fireworks shows, events and entertainment.
Here are some of the Fourth of July celebrations happening around the region. All events take place Friday, July 4 unless stated otherwise.
Davidson County
Music City July Fourth in downtown Nashville features a free fireworks show and live music headlined by Dierks Bentley.
Music City Hot Chicken Festival is bringing the heat to East Nashville this Fourth of July. The event in East Park kicks off at 10:30 a.m. with an antique fire truck parade.
July 4th Fireworks Cruise with Pontoon Saloon is for you if watching the fireworks from the ground isn’t enough. Hop on a boat!
Luke Combs’ Big USA Party at Category 10 is a week-long Fourth of July celebration with rooftop views of the Music City fireworks show.
Ole Red White and Blue is a fireworks viewing party on the rooftop of Ole Red on Broadway at 7 p.m.
The Twelve Thirty Club Rooftop will celebrate Independence Day with events from July 3-6 with a special food and cocktail menu, live entertainment and more. On July 4, guests can watch the Nashville fireworks show from the rooftop.
Fourth of July on Skydeck is another spot to enjoy the fireworks show with live music in downtown Nashville. Tickets include a 4-hour open bar.
Fourth of July at PROOF will have DJ entertainment and 270-degree views of the downtown Nashville fireworks show. Tickets start at $31.
Friends in Low Places honky tonk on Broadway will serve up free hot dogs beginning at 2 p.m. on July 4.
Cheatham County
Pegram 4th of July Celebration festivities start with a 7 a.m. pancake breakfast and end with a fireworks show at 9 p.m.
Pegram Community Club 4th of July Barbeque will serve up plates of pulled pork shoulder, slaw, baked beans, tea and dessert from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Adults are $15 and children are $8.
Robertson County
Freedom Fest in Springfield is on July 3 from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Robertson County Fairgrounds.
Cross Plains Fourth of July Celebration starts at 6 p.m. at Kilgore Park.
Fireworks at Stroudsville Church of Christ in Adams starts at 6 p.m. The event offers free food, yard games and fireworks at dark.
4th of July Homecoming Picnic in Greenbrier will be held on West College Street from Maple Street to Stark Street. Events, games and music begin at 9 a.m. and the parade steps off at 10 a.m.
Rutherford County
La Vergne Independence Day Celebration will be held at Veterans Memorial Park. Gates for the fireworks show open at 5:30 p.m. and live music by Rae Radick Band begins at 6 p.m.
Murfreesboro Night Market is every Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at River Rock Baptist Church. Grab a bite to eat and support local businesses before heading out to see fireworks.
Murfreesboro Celebration Under the Stars starts at 4:30 p.m. July 4 at The Fountains. Visitors can enjoy live music, food trucks, DJ and a splash pad.
Sumner County
Gallatin Fourth of July at Triple Creek Park begins at 5 p.m. with foam from the Gallatin Fire Department. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
Goodlettsville's Independence Day Celebration starts at 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 3 at Moss-Wright Park. Food and entertainment will be followed by a fireworks show around 9 p.m.
Hendersonville Fireworks is on July 2 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Drakes Creek Park.
Westmoreland Freedom Fest is on June 28 at Ricky Woodard Park.
Williamson County
Fairview's Annual July Third Celebration at City Hall features live music, food trucks and entertainment on Thursday, July 3. Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.
Franklin on the Fourth in downtown Franklin is a celebration with a pet parade and children's parade. There will also be music, food and crafts.
Fourth of July at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm will have food vendors and live entertainment starting at 6 p.m., and fireworks starting around 9 p.m.
Nolensville's Star Spangled Celebration is set for June 28 at Nolensville High School from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be food, events, inflatables and a fireworks show.
Red, White and Boom in Brentwood is a celebration with live music starting at 7 p.m. The fireworks show begins at 9 p.m.
Wilson County
City of Lebanon’s 4th of July Celebration will take place at the Wilson County Fairgrounds. Live music, games and events begin at 5 p.m. and fireworks are set to start around 9 p.m.
Independence Day Extravaganza at Starstruck Farm has July 4 festivities starting at 4 p.m. in Lebanon. Tickets are free and are required to enter. Find more information at starstruckfarmadventure.com.
Mt. Juliet and 4th of July Firework Celebration will be held at Charlie Daniels Park.
Watertown 4th of July will kick off with a squirt gun-friendly parade stretching from Round Lick Baptist Church to Jewel's Market. Fireworks begin at dark behind Three Forks Community Park.
