NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) -- Authorities responded to a report of a shooting near Nashville's Germantown area Saturday evening.

According to Metro Nashville dispatch, the incident was called in just after 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 28 from the 800 block of Garfield Street.

The Metro Nashville Police Department confirmed one person was transported to the hospital after the shooting, but there's no word on that individual's current condition.

No additional details have been released about this shooting.
