Fatal I-65 Crash Claims One Life Early Wednesday -THP Investigating

ROBERTSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News)-  One person has died following a rear-end collision on I 65 North in Robertson County.

The crash occurred at or near a truck parking area on I-65, the first call coming in to 911 at 2:15 a.m. MAP Wednesday morning. According to Robertson County EMS Director Brent Dyer, crews arrived at the 119-mile marker to find a small Ford sedan with heavy damage after an apparent impact with a semi, the vehicle landing on its roof after impact. The car’s only occupant, a man in his 20s, was pronounced deceased at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is leading the investigation into the crash; however, they have indicated that they are “unable to release any information at this time. As soon as they are prepared to release more details, including the identity of the victim, we will bring it to you.
