Description
DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) -- Dickson County’s "Christmas in the Country" event turns 50 years old this weekend.
Dickson County High School was filled with all types of vendors selling holiday items on Saturday, Nov. 1.
Plenty of people get an early start on their Christmas shopping at the annual event put on by the GFWC Dickson County Woman’s Club. Funds raised by "Christmas in the Country" go toward helping the organization support various community groups and nonprofits.
In addition, folks donated canned food items for the Dickson County Help Center and Thrift Store to help families impacted by SNAP.
If you missed the event Saturday, you can still catch all the fun from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2.
