Car Strikes Utility Pole, Driver Not Found
SPRINGFIELD, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News), On Saturday, just before 3 a.m., emergency crews were called to a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of 10th Avenue and Hill Street in downtown Springfield. LOCATION OF CRASH A passenger car left the roadway and struck a utility pole. The crash caused heavy damage to the vehicle and the utility pole. 
Springfield Fire Department, Robertson County EMS, and Springfield Police responded. When officers arrived, the vehicle was empty, the driver was not on scene.
Springfield Police are investigating to determine who was behind the wheel and what led to the crash. No additional details were immediately available. This is one of two crashes in Springfield this weekend where a driver was not found.
