Rollover Crash on Kinneys Road in Springfield, Driver Not Found

SPRINGFIELD, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A rollover crash occurred late Saturday night on Kinneys Road near Raul’s Auto Salvage, the first call coming into 911 at 11:44 p.m. LOCATION OF CRASH

When first responders arrived, no driver was found at the scene. One unconfirmed source indicated the vehicle may have been reported stolen.

Neighbors along Kinneys Road may have seen officers using searchlights as they looked for the driver. It is not known if the driver was ever located.

There was also speculation about how long the vehicle had been there, since it left the roadway and went down a steep embankment, making it hard to see from the road.

The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office, North Robertson Fire and Rescue, Robertson County EMS, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol responded. THP is leading the investigation.
