SUMNER COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Construction is ramping up for one park in Sumner County that's getting an entirely new makeover.

Renovations for Clearview Park are continuing on as construction starts to ramp up.

The city began its revitalization plan a while ago after the city council approved to redo the park and add a new community center and amenities.

They've already completed the demolition process, including taking down pavilions and working on the utilities and electricity.

Gallatin Parks and Rec. shared photos of the foundation being poured for the park as crews work on the new community center.

Some of the new amenities for the park will be the community center, pavilions, a new playground, basketball court and more.
