CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Clarksville police responded to two shootings that occurred within minutes of one another on Tuesday night.
According to a news release from the Clarksville Police Department, a shooting was reported at 7:25 p.m. Tuesday at Mizu Japanese Cuisine, located at 1525 Wilma Rudolph Blvd.
Police arrived on the scene to find a man with a gunshot wound. They began performing CPR on the man until he was taken to Tennova Healthcare, according to the CPD.
Authorities said the man's condition is unknown as of publication.
At 7:35 p.m., a woman reported to police that someone who had been shot was going to her home on Cabot Cove, according to the CPD.
Officials said that police responded to the woman's home and found a man with a gunshot wound. Officers performed CPR until medical personnel arrived, and his condition is unknown as of publication.
The CPD has begun two separate, active investigations into these shootings.
