Description

ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Starting Tuesday, Riverbluff Park will rock out out as the 29th annual Summerfest begins.

The festival — which runs from Tuesday, June 3, to Saturday, June 7 — includes more than a dozen artists performing live music, plenty of carnival games, food trucks, community vendors and more in one of Ashland City's eight parks.

The event is free to attend for all those interested, though individual vendors will require cash or card payments. Additionally, the festival will include a special night with a calmer atmosphere for attendees with special needs thanks to Bruce's Buddies.

The Summerfest Special Needs Night will take place Thursday, June 5, from 3 to 5 p.m. During this time, a free snack time provided courtesy Cajun River Bistro and the Creeker's Ball Organization will take place from 3 to 4, followed by another hour of free silent and limited light rides.

All those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, according to Summerfest organizers. Each day of Summerfest will run from 6 to 10 p.m., according to city officials.
