1 in custody after high-speed chase ends in North Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Metro police officers were involved in a high-speed chase overnight that led through various Nashville neighborhoods.
According to authorities, the chase began around 11 p.m. after a vehicle failed to pull over for a traffic stop. Metro Police did not specify the reason that the traffic stop was initiated.
The suspect fled at speeds reaching 120 mph on the interstate as he led officers on a pursuit through Davidson County, eventually being stopped over an hour later in a parking lot on Buchanan Street in North Nashville.
After the incident, at least one person was arrested and booked into Metro jail.
No additional information was immediately released.
