NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A woman was killed when she was hit by a vehicle while walking a dog in the Germantown neighborhood of Nashville Sunday night.
The crash happened at Van Buren Street and Third Avenue North around 7:30 p.m.
According to Metro police, the victim was walking from a dog park in a crosswalk when she was hit by a pickup truck. The woman died from her injuries and the dog is said to be OK.
No additional information was immediately released.
