Description

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — On Friday, a Williamson County jury convicted a man — formerly of Franklin — of several counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office's Internet Crimes Against Children task force conducted the investigation into Matthew Lynn Humphrey following a CyberTip made via Dropbox to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, according to Stacey B. Edmonson, the 21st District Attorney General.

Humphrey has been charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, eight counts of sexual exploitation of a minor with more than 100 images and one count of sexual exploitation of a minor with less than 50 images.

His bond was revoked, and he was taken into custody following Friday's verdict, Edmonson added.

The NCMEC has a support network for survivors of sexual exploitation. You can connect with Team HOPE via email or by calling 1-877-446-2632 ext. 6117.
