In addition to the THP's sobriety checkpoints, the THP will work with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office and the Dickson County Sheriff's Office for a campaign called "Safe on Seventy." The joint effort is meant to combat everything from impaired driving to speeding, aggressive driving, distracted driving and other high-risk driving behaviors.

As a result of the campaign, there will be greater traffic enforcement along U.S. Highway 70 across Tennessee.
