DAVIDSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued a Silver Alert for a man reported missing out of Davidson County.
James Merrell, 71, walks with a limp and has been described by the TBI as 6'0" and weighing 190 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, gray sweater and blue jeans.


The agency said he could be using the MTA bus system and was last seen in the area of 9th Avenue South area of Nashville at 6 a.m. Friday. He has a medical condition that could impair his ability to return safely without assistance.
In 2022, another Silver Alert had been issued for Merrell. He was found safe.
