NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Tanger Outlets has given residents something to look forward to with the announcement of three new retail stores that will become a part of the Century Farms Development.

The Johnston & Murphy Factory Store, which predominantly sells menswear, opened Friday, July 18. Officials said they're excited for the Nashville-based company to join the team. HEYDUDE, which provides casual shoes for buyers, opens on Friday, July 25. Buckle, which provides denim, western and trendy items to local shoppers, will open this fall.

Leaders at the Tanger Outlets said they feel like these next three brands are great for shoppers. Tanger Outlets' General Manager, Rachel Fives, said they want Tanger Outlets to be considered a hub for the local community and for families to enjoy.

"Not only does it bring new jobs, but it helps bring foot traffic to other stores as well," Fives said. "We'll have new shoppers come to check out these new brands, and really it just helps the local economy overall." 

Tanger Outlets also provides free events for families. Marketing Manager for Tanger Outlets, Emily Scott, said that this Friday at 6:20 p.m., the outlet will showcase "Moana 2" on their greenway for residents and visitors to come out and enjoy. Leaders said a couple of pop-up stores will join this winter and residents and visitors should stay tuned for what's to come.
