WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) -- A road in Wilson County has been shut down until further notice following a crash involving a "hayride-type vehicle," according to law enforcement.
The Wilson County Sheriff's Office announced shortly before 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25 that Central Pike is closed indefinitely at Beckwith Road due to a multi-vehicle crash involving multiple serious injuries.
The Mt. Juliet Police Department said its officers are assisting with the incident, which took place just outside city limits.
Authorities urge motorists to avoid the area and use alternate routes for the time being.
No additional details have been released about the circumstances surrounding the crash, which is under investigation by Tennessee Highway Patrol.
