RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — With fall around the corner, events are already lining up, including a highly anticipated festival in Rutherford County.
The Rutherford County Farmer's Market is hosting their upcoming Fall Harvest Festival. They're inviting residents and visitors to celebrate the harvest season with them.
The festival will be hosted at Lane Agri-Park at 315 John R. Rice Boulevard in Murfreesboro. Event organizers are highlighting a few special treats for families to enjoy.
There will be a showing of the movie "Charlie Brown" at 5 and 5:30 p.m., an indoor pumpkin-patch and children's activities.
The farmer's market is available for all to enjoy and event organizers are encouraging guest to support local famers. There will be a selection of fresh produce, handmade goods and seasonal treats for guest to choose from.
Organizers want to spread the word that the farmers market will not operate on their normal hours on the day of the festival.
