GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The City of Goodlettsville's collaboration with Metro on the long-awaited Rivergate Mall redevelopment faces its next step: a public hearing before the Metro Council for the proposed plan to stay on track.
The mixed-use development would sit at the intersection of Rivergate Parkway and Gallatin Pike. Preliminary plans introduce walkable streets, diverse land use and a signature greenspace as well as townhomes and multi-family housing units. On-street and off-street parking options will be available for the accessibility of residents, visitors and businesses.
Additionally, the Rivergate Master Plan showed images and renderings of what the new site would look like.

Construction would begin in Fall 2025 and the project is set to be fully complete by 2029.
An ordinance about the rezoning has been listed under Metro Council's bills on public hearing Tuesday night.
