Portion of Murfreesboro Road closed in La Vergne following crash

LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A crash near the Rutherford County line has shut down a portion of Murfreesboro Road Thursday morning.
The La Vergne Police Department took to social media shortly after 10:30 a.m. stating, "Murfreesboro Road is currently closed at Waldron Road due to an injury accident."
According to authorities, first responders and officers are working to clear the scene. It remains unclear when the roadway will reopen.
No additional information was immediately released.
