WHITE COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) -- First responders have been called out to the scene of a plane crash in White County Saturday, according to officials.
The White County Firefighters Association posted about the incident on Facebook shortly after 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, saying emergency crews from across the county were on the ground in the Almyra Road area due to the crash.
The North End Volunteer Fire Department said it's one of the agencies helping at the scene. Community members are encouraged to avoid the area of Almyra Road and Howell Cemetery Road until further notice.
No additional details have been released about the plane crash, including the number of people involved, as well as their current condition.
