NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A pedestrian was critically injured after he was hit by a vehicle in downtown Nashville early Thursday morning.
The crash happened at the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Korean Veterans Boulevard around 3:20 a.m.

According to Metro police, a man was crossing Fourth Avenue in the crosswalk when he was hit by a blue car. He was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The blue vehicle drove away from the crash. Fourth Avenue is closed to traffic from Korean Veterans Boulevard to Peabody Street.
No additional information was immediately released.
