MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Nashville man has been linked to several thefts at Walmart locations across Middle Tennessee where he allegedly stole thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.
According to the Mt. Juliet Police Department, a 61-year-old Nashville man was fleeing from a Walmart overnight with $500 worth of merchandise "concealed in a large tote."
MJPD officers responded to the Walmart and blocked the man's vehicle from leaving the parking lot.
Police said officers were able to recover the stolen merchandise, and they also found crack cocaine.
According to the MJPD, investigators were able to link the 61-year-old to 15 thefts across the region "where he's believed to have stolen over $5,000 in merchandise from various Walmart stores."
