CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man has died after he was shot at an apartment complex in Clarksville Wednesday night.

Officers were called to the Summit Heights complex on Paradise Hill Road just before 11 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found a male victim with a gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.

Detectives with CPD’s Special Operations Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Unit responded to the scene to conduct their investigation and collect evidence.

The identity of the victim was not released pending notification to his next-of-kin.

No additional information was immediately released.
