“Operation Shoulder to Shoulder”

**FREE ADMISSION**

SPRINGFIELD, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) — The community is invited to come together in support of our military on Armed Forces Day, Friday, May 17, at the Robertson County Fairgrounds in Springfield Tennessee. The annual celebration, titled “Operation Shoulder to Shoulder”, will include a car, truck, jeep, and motorcycle show, live music, food vendors, and a special military tribute ceremony.

Hosted as part of My Father’s House Car Show and Family Day, the event offers free admission to the public and is expected to draw families, veterans, and car enthusiasts from across the region.


📅 Event Schedule & Details:

  • Event Name: Operation Shoulder to Shoulder / My Father’s House Car Show and Family Day

  • Date: Friday, May 17

  • Location: Robertson County Fairgrounds, Springfield, Tennessee

  • Public Admission: Free

  • Public Show Hours: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Vehicle Registration:

    • Time: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

    • Fee: $25 donation to MFHM

    • Trophies awarded


🇺🇸 Special Military Ceremony (10:00 AM):

  • Ceremony Name: Operation Shoulder to Shoulder

  • Includes:

    • 21-Gun Salute

    • Presentation of the Flag

    • National Anthem

    • Pledge of Allegiance

    • Recognition of all military branches:
      Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, Space Force

    • Meet and greet with T5 James R. Head, U.S. Army – World War II Veteran
      At 98 years old, Mr. Head is the oldest living veteran in Robertson County and currently resides in Greenbrier. He will be honored with an award during Operation Shoulder to Shoulder on May 17th at the Robertson County Fairgrounds.
