LEBANON, Tenn. (WKRN) — Lebanon police recovered a truck that had been stolen out of Antioch as well as a firearm that had been stolen in a separate 2019 incident after a traffic stop Monday.
An officer reportedly saw a silver Dodge pickup truck with what appeared to be a fake temporary tag driving along Highway 109. The driver, a 38-year-old man from Nashville's Antioch neighborhood, was allegedly driving without a license. Lebanon police also reportedly found that he had a warrant for his arrest out of Nashville.
A search of the truck led to the discovery of a handgun that had been reported stolen during a 2019 vehicle burglary in Smyrna, police added. The truck itself had also been reported stolen out of Antioch.
The driver was taken into custody without incident and faces multiple charges.
