Description
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — At least one person was killed in a crash involving garbage truck on Interstate 24 in Joelton early Tuesday morning.
The crash happened in the westbound lanes near mile marker 33 just after midnight.
According to Metro police, the deadly crash involved a garbage truck and a tractor-trailer.
The roadway remains partially closed with the the right lanes and shoulder blocked. It is not known when the interstate will fully reopen to traffic.
No additional information was immediately released.
