CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) -- While responding to a house fire in Clarksville Saturday afternoon, crews ended up saving a dog.
According to Clarksville Fire Rescue, units were called to Concord Drive for a report of a residential structure fire shortly before 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 3.
During search and rescue efforts, officials said firefighters found one dog, who was treated by EMS at the scene.
First responders said no injuries were reported following the incident.
According to the fire department, the American Red Cross was called to the scene to help the residents. However, there's no word on extent of the damages caused by the blaze.
With the cause of Saturday's fire still under investigation, no additional details have been released about this incident.
