NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Nashville's first Tim Hortons location will open Saturday and part of the grand opening celebration includes a giveaway.

The first 500 guests at the Tim Hortons at 2527 Lebanon Pike will receive free coffee for a month, and they won't have to buy anything to get it. If you're not one of the first 500 people to visit the store, they'll still be celebrating all day with 99-cent hot or iced coffee and 10-packs of Timbits — their specialty donut holes — for $1.

I can’t wait for the community to try and fall in love with Tims’ delicious beverages, breakfast, and baked goods, which have become a daily morning routine for many in other cities," Tim Hortons U.S. President Katerina Glyptis said. "We look forward to welcoming everyone with the friendly service, convenience, and amazing value that we’re known for."

The chain was founded in Canada in 1964 and has since expanded to the U.S. , with its first stateside location opening in Buffalo, New York in 1984. Tim Hortons plans to expand to states like Texas, Georgia, Virginia, Missouri and Delaware.

The new location will be open from 5 a.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday and you must register for a Tims Rewards account.
