TRIGG COUNTY, Ky. (WKRN) -- A Middle Tennessee man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly fled from law enforcement, handcuffed and in his underwear, in Southern Kentucky Saturday morning.
According to WKDZ Radio, the Trigg County Sheriff's Office said 36-year-old Joshua Jordan had been transported to the justice center on Saturday, Aug. 2, but he was hurting himself by hitting his head against the cage in the cruiser several times. When deputies opened the door to render aid, the Dickson man reportedly ran off, despite his handcuffs and lack of clothes.
The radio station said officers from the Cadiz Police Department were called to help the deputies following Jordan's escape on Jefferson Street in Cadiz.
Law enforcement reportedly found Jordan on Perry Street, where he stopped and laid down.
WKDZ Radio said Jordan was arrested and charged with disarming a peace officer, third-degree assault of a police officer, alcohol intoxication in a public place, resisting arrest, third-degree criminal trespassing, and first- and second-degree fleeing or evading police.
