Description
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — At least two people were shot when gunfire erupted at a block party Saturday night in East Nashville, according to authorities.
Officers were called to the 2400 block of Oakwood Avenue around 11 p.m. Saturday.
Officials said a person with a gunshot wound to the back was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and is expected to survive. A second victim was pronounced deceased at TriStar Skyline Medical Center.
No additional information was released as the investigation continues.
