NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Country music artist Ronnie McDowell is being examined at a hospital in Reading, Pennsylvania following a possible medical event.
On Saturday night, McDowell was on tour at the Summer Solstice Music Festival in Oley, Pennsylvania. According to his tour manager, McDowell was three or four songs deep into the set when he began to slur his words and started "not making sense."
At that point, the tour manager told News 2 that he paused the show and brought McDowell to the side of the stage and asked him if he felt okay. McDowell reportedly said, "No," and mentioned that he thought he might have had a stroke.
As of publication, McDowell is on his way to a hospital in Reading, Pennsylvania for further examination.
