COFFEE COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Coffee County deputy has been terminated after he was arrested in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on multiple charges.

According to the Coffee County Sheriff's Office, officers with the Murfreesboro Police Department arrested Miles White on Saturday, July 12.

Authorities said White is facing the following charges: public intoxication; resist stop, frisk, halt, arrest or search; and two counts of assault on a first responder.

CCSO officials said White was off duty at the time of the incident.

After further investigation of the incident, the CCSO terminated White's employment.

"Public trust is earned through accountability," Coffee County Sheriff Chad Partin said. "We will not tolerate behavior that undermines the integrity of this office or the community we serve."
