WARREN COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Warren County Schools bus carrying 28 elementary school children was involved in a crash Friday morning.
The crash happened at the intersection of US 70 S and Bethany Road in Centertown around 6:50 a.m.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 50-year-old Andrew Gross was driving the school bus southbound as it crossed US 70 S and was hit by a 2006 GMC Sierra. After the crash, the bus came to a stop on the opposite side of the road. Meanwhile, the GMC rolled onto the shoulder.
One Centertown Elementary School student sustained minor injuries in the crash but the remaining 27 students and Gross were uninjured. Charges are now pending against Gross.
