BUCKSNORT, Tenn. (WKRN) — Representatives with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives will give an update Friday morning about the deadly explosion that occurred two weeks ago at the Accurate Energetic Systems plant in Bucksnort.
A press conference is scheduled at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 24, in Bucksnort. ATF officials are expected to provide an update on their investigation into the deadly explosion and what to expect in the coming weeks.
On Oct. 10, an explosion was reported at Accurate Energetic Systems in Bucksnort. Sixteen people were unaccounted for following the blast, and officials said that “no survivors” were recovered.
Last week, Humphreys County Sheriff Chris Davis said authorities have been able to positively identify 14 of the victims with help from the TBI’s technology.
