Description
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A line of strong to severe thunderstorms will move through parts of Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky Saturday evening.
The Storm Prediction Center has circled all of our area under a level 1 marginal risk for severe weather.

With this round, the main threat is heavy rain and damaging wind gusts over 60 mph.

A couple pop-up thunderstorms will be possible during the early afternoon, but it looks like the best potential for severe thunderstorms will be later Saturday evening. Forecast models are showing a broken line of storms entering our area around dinner time. Click through the slides below for the latest hour-by-hour timing.
Saturday's risk is low, but you still need to be weather alert and have a way to receive warnings. If you get a severe thunderstorm warning, you need to get inside and away from windows.
