NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — At least two people were killed in a high-speed crash in The Gulch neighborhood of Nashville early Friday morning.

The crash happened at the intersection of 12th Avenue South and Demonbreun Street around 2:45 a.m.

According to Metro police, an SUV crashed into a taxi van and into the bottom of a 5-story building. The vehicles crashed into the storefront for Del Frisco's Grille.

Two people were killed in the crash while two others were taken to an area hospital with critical injuries.

The intersection is closed to traffic in the immediate area.

No additional information was immediately released.
