ANTIOCH, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities are investigating a shooting that left one person injured Tuesday morning at an Antioch apartment complex.

The Metro Nashville Police Department said officers were sent to the 300 block of Hickory Hollow Place to respond to reports of a shooting at approximately 9:39 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 9.

Officials said a preliminary investigation indicates that two men were arguing in the breezeway of an apartment building when one of the men shot the other in the shoulder.

The suspect reportedly fled in an older model Nissan. No additional information was immediately released.
