HICKMAN COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities say a tip regarding "drug activity" led deputies to guns, drugs and cash at a Hickman County residence.

According to the Hickman County Sheriff's Office, a large presence of law enforcement was seen on Back Piney Road after deputies received information about the potential illegal activity.

After initiating an investigation, the sheriff's office reportedly obtained a search warrant for the home.

At least one person—who was not identified—was taken into custody and charged with possession with intent to distribute narcotics. However, deputies said additional charges are anticipated as an investigation into the incident continues.

"We will continue these efforts to apprehend the individuals that are bringing drugs to our community. We express our gratitude to everyone who has assisted us in combating this ongoing problem; without the community’s support, we would not be able to accomplish our mission," wrote the sheriff's office in a post about the arrest.

Hickman County deputies urge those that have tips about possible drug activity to call the sheriff's office at 931-729-6143.

No additional information was immediately released.
