NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) -- A 20-year-old has been arrested in connection with the deadly shooting of her 62-year-old "live-in boyfriend" in Bellevue Tuesday morning, officials said.
The Metro Nashville Police Department said the shooting occurred inside an apartment in the 6900 block of Highway 70 South on Tuesday, Oct. 14.
According to authorities, another resident of the apartment called 911 just after 7:30 a.m., saying he arrived home and saw Hailey J. Hall standing in the doorframe of the bedroom she shared with the victim, who was unresponsive on the floor. The witness reported Hall told him she shot the victim.

Based on an affidavit, a handgun was found laying on the floor near the victim's body and where the other resident saw Hall standing when he entered the apartment.
Officials said Hall would not discuss the circumstances surrounding the incident with detectives.
Police announced Tuesday night that a chaplain was working to notify the victim's next of kin.
According to law enforcement, Hall is being held in the Correctional Development Center for Females on a $100,000 bond for criminal homicide.
