Description
MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — What started as a traffic stop Friday evening turned into an arrest and the discovery of "dangerous drugs" in Mt. Juliet, officials said.
The Mt. Juliet Police Department said officers stopped a vehicle on Mt. Juliet Road near I-40 Friday evening for displaying a suspended license plate on Friday, June 13.
According to officials, the driver of the vehicle initially gave officers a fake name, but upon further investigation, police learned that the driver was a 34-year-old convicted felon from Lebanon.
She was reportedly wanted for probation violation related to cocaine sales and child support. Inside the vehicle, officers said they found a firearm and "dangerous drugs."

Authorities said the woman was arrested and booked into the Wilson County Jail on multiple charges, including criminal impersonation, driving on a revoked license, possession of Schedule III & VI drugs, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and unlawful drug paraphernalia.
"We're thankful for the work of our officers to keep MJ safe and safely bringing another wanted individual into custody," MJPD posted on social media about the arrest.
No additional details have released about Friday's incident, including the identity of the woman who was arrested.
