WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities are working to reunite a lost pig with its owners in Mt. Juliet.

The Wilson County Sheriff's Office reported a "friendly" pig was found wandering down Nonaville Road in Mt. Juliet Monday night.

A good Samaritan helped capture the pig and it is currently being held by the Sheriff's Office while they work to locate its owner.

Anyone with information is asked to call 615-444-1412 ext. 0.

The sheriff's office noted it offers a livestock log residents can use to register any animals in case they wander away.
