Unknown Animal Blamed After Nine Goats Found Dead In Coopertown

COOPERTOWN, TENNESSEE (SMOKEY BARN NEWS): The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after multiple goats, reportedly nine, were found killed on Hood’s Branch Road in the Cooperstown area.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the animals appear to have been attacked by another animal. Officials have not identified what may be responsible.

There is no official alert from authorities, but livestock owners in the area may want to keep a close eye on animals that are grazing or left out in open fields as a precaution.
